The idea of Blazin Hearth was struck by the owner, Kendall Pipkin (Billis) while taking time off work and life to do chemotherapy and fight stage 4 cancer in 2019. During this time he decided it was nigh time to start his own business. He has always loved cooking and catering delicious foods and found a need for wood-fired pizza catering in the Southern Utah area. After taking a large HELOC on his home, Kendall personally designed his equipment, built his business model, took personal training from world-famous pizza chefs, and launched his business. It quickly became popular and has amassed a rather large fan base in the area. Earning “Preferred Vendor” status with several of the greater Zion area’s venues has really helped us to grow and do the things we love.
